What is Built for a Purpose?

In 2014, 117 worshippers gave up there seat in 211 Sumner to make room for the incredible growth of new worshippers we were seeing. These "missionaries" would go on to worship in the gym at Lincoln Christian for 5 years while we searched for a location to build a new campus. In 2019 that campus opened and we know it as Yankee Hill. Almost 7 years later, Yankee Hill has over 600 in weekly worship attendance, a growing Child Care program, and is thriving in south Lincoln.

To make this campus possible our congregation took on a $7,000,000 loan to purchase the land and construct the building we now enjoy. Built for a Purpose started in 2022 and helps pay the annual mortgage on the loan as well as make extra payments toward the principal. Thanks to our Built for a Purpose donors and the many other ways we are aggresively tackling this loan, as of January 1, 2026 the balance has crossed below $4.4M.

How Can You Help?

There are three primary ways to help with our Built for a Purpose campaign: give, pray, and share. Giving financially will help us continue to walk in ministry. Prayers are always encouraged as we seek to walk in God's will for our church. Through sharing this campaign, more may hear of how God is working and get encouraged to give.
